Position Overview:
This role focuses on enhancing the efficiency of operational systems by improving the tools and experiences for internal and external partners involved in logistics. As a Usability Specialist, you will play a critical part in understanding user needs and transforming research insights into solutions that simplify processes and save time. Your approach will involve a range of methodologies, including field studies, interviews, and surveys, to gain a deep understanding of user behaviors and challenges.
You will collaborate closely with other researchers, designers, product managers, and technical teams to align on goals, support research efforts, and drive customer-focused outcomes. The position requires someone detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of both conducting independent research and evaluating the work of others to uphold high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative research, including usability testing, user interviews, surveys, and contextual inquiries.
- Analyze research data to identify trends, insights, and patterns, synthesizing findings into actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, and engineering) to align research goals and inform decision-making.
- Present research findings effectively, tailoring communication for different stakeholders.
- Stay updated on emerging research trends and methods, applying innovative approaches where relevant.
- Contribute to shaping the UX research strategy and refining processes to adapt to evolving business and user needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience conducting user research in a product-driven environment.
- Proficiency in a variety of research methods and the ability to choose the most effective approach for specific goals.
- Proven experience turning research insights into meaningful product and design decisions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to draw insights from complex data.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of clearly articulating findings to diverse audiences.
- Passion for staying informed about the latest trends and best practices in UX research.
