Insight Global is looking for a 6 MONTH CONTRACT, Part Time (20 hours a week), possible extensions, possible perm, Classroom Media Specialist/AV Tech for a client in New Haven, CT for $18 an hour. This person will be joining a team of 3 Classroom Support Technicians, whom are responsible for integrating media and technology into the classroom to enhance the learning experience. This role involves collaborating with faculty and professors to develop multimedia resources, managing classroom technology, and providing training and support to staff and students.
To further break down the role, the candidate will spend their time doing the following:
Media Integration:
Collaborate with professors to design and implement multimedia lessons and projects that align with curriculum standards. Technology Management:
Maintain and troubleshoot classroom technology, including computers, projectors, interactive whiteboards, and other multimedia equipment. Resource Development:
Create and curate digital resources, such as videos, podcasts, and interactive activities, to support instructional goals. Support:
Provide training and ongoing support to professors and students on the effective use of media and technology in the classroom. Digital Literacy:
Promote digital literacy and responsible use of technology among students. Innovation:
Stay current with emerging educational technologies and recommend new tools and practices to enhance teaching and learning. Collaboration:
Work with the IT department to ensure seamless integration of technology and resolve technical issues promptly.
