Responsibilities
- Perform complex professional, community, regional and statewide program and planning functions.
- Supervise the work of other subordinates engaged in such functions; and to do related work as required.
- Perform complex professional program and planning work relative to a community assistance, a regional or a statewide program such as the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) initiatives. Examples include:
- Conduct regulatory compliance reviews of subrecipients and projects.
- Collect, interpret, and enter necessary information into required federal reporting formats/systems.
- Review and process local requests (such as environmental reviews and amendments) relative to active community development programs;.
- Analyze and verify program compliance of applications submitted relative to housing, homeless and community development programs;.
- Draft interpretive guidance on program regulatory issues; and
- Assist and advise Homeless Service Providers in the development of work programs designed to address local housing and community development needs.
- Coordinate statewide programs with state agencies or community programs.
- Confer with state, community and agency officials on matters pertaining to community, regional and statewide programs.
- When authorized, draft and negotiate details of contract agreements.
- Attend meetings and conferences, as necessary.
