Nature of Work:

Will be responsible for the successful development and execution of Denver Nuggets Marketing promotional and media plans

Key duties:
  • Develop and execute promotional and media plans in alignment with company goals
  • Craft and lead promotional campaigns, including ticket on-sale launch, promotional nights, season ticket on-sale, and more
  • Lead Nuggets paid media strategy, ensuring proper segmentation and channel placement
  • Handle agency and internal relationships by guiding campaigns, creative, and media buys
  • Lead demand generation strategy to attract new consumers to the purchase funnel, with a framework encompassing lead generation, nurturing, conversion, and retention
  • Interact cross-functionally to develop revenue opportunities supporting ticket sales, season ticket memberships, and retention programs
  • Assist with the development of consistent and unified brand identity and manages execution across all deliverables and channels
  • Assist with creative direction and development process via annual marketing campaign and presents key elements, objectives and goals to stakeholders
  • Review and optimize performance of all marketing activities to maximize conversions, revenue and return on investment; and to assess against goals and benchmarks
  • Own email marketing strategy, email marketing calendar and development of content
  • Provide hands-on tactical leadership to marketing team, mentor team members, and foster their personal development
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with key internal stakeholders, including brand teams, BI, Ticket Sales, Broadcast, and etc.
  • Continuous evaluation and improvement of project workflow, process, and tools
  • Management of advertising budgets, consisting of cash, ticket/premium trade and rights holder media assets with brand teams
  • Review payment of vendor/media invoices; serves as primary contact for vendors/media regarding payment issues as needed.
  • Collaborate frequently with Business Intelligence to evaluate the efficacy of media and attribution models
  • Collaborate with Business Intelligence to conduct a semi-annual brand health study and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns across various metrics
  • Direct and optimize KSE's media assets including TV, Digital, Social, Print, Radio, and Outdoor media
  • Provide strategic guidance on best use of available media resources, opportunities for improvement, etc.

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing and brand management
  • Experience directing brand, digital marketing and demand generation programs
  • Knowledge and interest in pop culture including sports, music, lifestyle, and film & television.
  • Understanding of the ticket sales cycle and ticket demand
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Strong quantitative, analytics, and problem-solving skills
  • Mandatory experience with: Microsoft Office, Media Trafficking, Reporting, and Ticketing
  • High attention to detail with ability to handle projects from origin through execution
  • Willingness to learn and should be able to flourish in a high growth, dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
  • Effective interpersonal skills, both oral and written
  • Self-starter, entrepreneurial with hands-on approach towards business

Compensation
  • Base salary range $65,000 - $75,000
  • Eligible for annual discretionary bonus
