Job Description
The Senior Content Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping Evident's brand narrative and driving engagement with our target audience. This individual will oversee the development and execution of content strategies across various channels, ensuring alignment with our overall business objectives.
Job Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies that support Evident's marketing and business goals.
- Develop and refine Evident's messaging to ensure consistency and effectiveness across all communication channels.
- Conduct audience research to identify and understand target demographics and their preferences.
- Create and manage content calendars and editorial guidelines.
Copywriting:
- Craft compelling and persuasive copy for various marketing materials, including website content, landing pages, email campaigns, and social media posts.
- Ensure that copy aligns with Evident's brand voice and messaging.
- Collaborate with designers to create visually appealing and effective content.
Content Creation:
- Oversee the creation of high-quality content, including blog posts, articles, whitepapers, case studies, social media posts, and website copy.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of content.
- Edit and proofread content to maintain consistency and quality.
Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of copywriters to ensure the efficient and effective production of high-quality content.
- Provide guidance and feedback on copywriting techniques, style, and tone.
- Assign tasks, manage deadlines, and monitor progress.
Content Distribution:
- Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility and drive organic traffic.
- Manage and maintain Evident's website and other digital platforms.
- Distribute content through various channels, including email marketing, social media, and paid advertising.
Analytics and Measurement:
- Track and analyze content performance metrics to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Use data-driven insights to inform content strategy and optimize results.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and other departments to align content efforts with overall business objectives.
Job Requirements
Education and relevant experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in content management or a similar role.
Technical skills:
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to create compelling and persuasive content.
- Experience managing a team of copywriters and providing effective leadership.
- Experience with SEO and content optimization.
- Knowledge of content management systems and digital marketing tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to develop and articulate clear and compelling messaging.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
