The Global Security Organization provides industry-leading cyber-security and business protection services to TikTok globally. TikTok is seeking a Security Analyst to join our Global Security Organization with a focus on the Content Assurance Program. As part of the GSO Content Assurance Team, you'll perform delivery of highly technical security project activities that enable cross-functional security and privacy at TikTok.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical execution for the Content Assurance program which includes cross-functional security projects across multiple organizations.
- Perform in-depth data analysis, normalization, and reconciliation using multiple large datasets to identify gaps and trends, manage data quality and integrity, and inform context-based decisions using various information sources.
- Streamline, standardize, and document end-to-end process flows and requirements to implement repeatable procedures and operations.
- Define metrics and create/maintain dashboards for measuring and reporting key performance indicators (e.g., coverage, findings and remediations).
- Perform operational security services that include but are not limited to: program management, vendor management, policy and compliance management, penetration testing activities and remediation, security monitoring, access controls, code review, algorithm data training, and other traditional security disciplines.
- Execute on program activities that meet the organization's information security standards, business needs, and regulatory requirements.
- Regularly evaluate and improve the content assurance program by staying updated with the latest threats, technologies, and practices related to content security and incorporating them into the program as necessary.
- Work closely with security, privacy, and engineering leaders to understand organizational priorities and to sequence and/or deconflict projects accordingly.
- Prepare high-level security reports for executive leadership and board members with reports that clearly and effectively communicate the organization's security status, any significant risks or incidents, and the business implications of security metrics.
