The Creative Services Intern, working under direct supervision, provides support to the Marketing business unit, covering day-to-day operations and completing assigned tasks, including projects. The role actively participates in training programs and workshops to enhance their skills and knowledge. The role collaborates with colleagues and stakeholders, actively participates in team meetings, and demonstrates problem-solving skills. The intern maintains professionalism, builds their professional network, seeks feedback, and continuously seeks opportunities for improvement during the internship.

Responsibilities
- Execute design and multimedia tasks as directed that achieve business and project goals.
- Areas of support will span graphic design, digital design, audio & video production, live event production, photography, and asset management.
- Learn and work within established processes and workflows and maintain awareness of project lifecycles from concept to completion.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to gain experience and understanding in cross-functional work environment.
- Work within an established brand identity/style guide and integrate visual consistency across all mediums to establish credibility and increase brand awareness
- Participate in design discussions and give feedback during planning and strategy meetings. Attend regular agile planning sessions and stand-up meetings.
- Create traditional and digital assets (static, animation, video, print, large format, etc.) for a range of platforms (social, digital advertising, websites, email, sales collateral, advertising, etc.) assuring holistic synergy across tactics for optimal performance
- Assists the business unit in completing the tasks assigned to them, which often includes, but is not limited to, project work and covering the day-to-day operations of the business unit.
- Participates in training programs, workshops, and on-the-job learning opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills related to the field or industry of the internship.
- Participates in summer internship program events, including Lunch and Learns.
- Completes assigned tasks and projects efficiently and effectively, following instructions and guidelines provided by supervisors or mentors.
- Conducts research, gathers data, and analyzes information relevant to the internship focus or assigned projects.
- Takes responsibility for administrative and support tasks of the department.
- Collaborates with colleagues, supervisors, and other stakeholders to effectively communicate progress, challenges, and ideas, and actively participates in team meetings or discussions.
- Works on projects that provide opportunity to collaborate with other interns as well as associates in other departments, ranging from data analysis to mentors.
- Identifies and resolves issues or challenges that arise during the internship, demonstrating problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to finding solutions.
- Demonstrates professionalism, punctuality, and a strong work ethic by being reliable, responsible, and maintaining a positive attitude towards assigned responsibilities.

- Maintaining accurate records, documenting progress, and preparing reports or presentations as required by the internship program or supervisors.
- Attends business unit meetings as assigned and creates and delivers presentations.
- Seeks feedback from supervisors or mentors, actively seeking opportunities for improvement, and applying learning to enhance performance throughout the internship.
- For field roles, only: Expected to drive/travel at least 25% of working time to perform essential functions. This may involve traveling on short notice or other daily driving duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) and/or commensurate experience.
- Either actively enrolled in an academic institution in pursuit of a degree in a relevant course of study or is a recent college graduate, typically having attained a degree within the past 12 months.
- Working knowledge of Adobe CC, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Acrobat, and Adobe XD preferred.
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong portfolio showing the breadth of capabilities.
- Photo, video, and audio editing capabilities.
- A good understanding of visual and typographical design principles.
