Job Description:

At Artisan Creative, we’re all about cultivating exceptional talent to power our client’s digital, creative, and marketing endeavors. Currently, we are looking to welcome a strategic and innovative Director of Creative Services whose expertise lies in project management, creative operations, and leadership. This opportunity is full-time and will be a hybrid role based in New York or Los Angeles, CA, working onsite four days a week with one remote day available. We are currently seeking NYC or LA residents for this opportunity only.

Your Expertise:

  • Over 12 years of experience in a dynamic creative setting, preferably within large agencies or corporate environments.
  • Robust understanding of production frameworks, workflows, and resource allocation.
  • Profound grasp of branding, marketing, and communication strategies.
  • Leadership style includes mentoring team members and fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
  • Advanced expertise in design tools, especially the Adobe Creative Suite.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead the production and creative services team, managing traffic operations and production designers.
  • Design and execute systems aimed at refining workflows, timelines, and project schedules.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Guide and mentor production designers and team members.
  • Oversee a range of production design initiatives, ensuring alignment with branding standards.
  • Set and assess service-level agreements (SLAs) to gauge team performance.
  • Collaborate closely with various departments to ensure cohesive integration of creative projects.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in graphic design, fine arts, or a related field is required.
  • At least 12 years of relevant experience in a large-scale, high-volume creative role.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities for managing efficient workflows.
  • Extensive knowledge of branding, marketing, and communications systems.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
  • Must be okay with working onsite in the NYC office.
