Job Overview:
As a Social Media Content Creator, your creativity will help us showcase how LPL empowers advisors and institutions, demonstrate our innovative capabilities, and connect with our community in meaningful ways. We're looking for a digital storyteller who can help us show what a modern wealth management firm looks like.
This role reports to the Assistant Vice President of Social Media and offers the opportunity to work with a forward-thinking team that values fresh ideas and creative excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Ideates and creates scroll-stopping social media content (visual video, text) that turns followers into advocates across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Community Management: Build a vibrant community by engaging with our audience, responding to comments and messages, and nurturing relationships with brand advocates.
- Trend and Competitor Analysis: Keep us ahead of the curve by tracking competitors, best-in-class brands, and cultural trends, then turning these insights into engaging content.
- Analytics & Reporting: Collaborate with the Analytics team to understand content performance and optimize engagement and reach.
- Campaign Support: Partner with cross-functional teams as their go-to social expert, supporting marketing initiatives and campaign development.
What are we looking for?
We want strong collaborators who can deliver a world-class client experience. We are looking for people who thrive in a fast-paced environment, are client-focused, team oriented, and are able to execute in a way that encourages creativity and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of proven success crafting engaging organic social content that drives real results. (Note: We'll ask to see a portfolio of your social-first content prior to the interview.)
Preferences:
- Excellent copywriting and content creation skills, with an eye for detail and a strong grasp of brand voice/tone.
- Fluent in LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube best practices and platform opportunities.
- Skilled in social media management tools and project management platforms (bonus points if you've used Sprout Social and Smartsheet).
- Skilled in content creation tools like Canva and CapCut.
- Strong deck building skills in PowerPoint and familiarity with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
Pay Range: $76,100.00 - $126,800.00 Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
