The Opportunity
What We Are Looking For
We’re now hiring a Graphic Designer – Production Artist to support KLN Family Brands. The full-time employee in this position is responsible for graphic activities at KLN Family Brands. This includes developing new packaging, sales support materials, sales show materials, website graphics, point-of-sale materials, and advertisements as needed. This is a new position open due to growth.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with other graphic designers and cross-functional teams on a range of materials to include packaging, point-of-sales materials, presentations, webpages, internal communications, and other projects as assigned
- Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity and its guidelines
- Develop concepts using the appropriate software and execute original content determining ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout
- Manage the design and uploading process of all project material, understanding best practices for using each system and vendor
- Manage the film approval process through the various departments using the systems specific to each business entity
- Work with outside consultant firms as needed
- All other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- 2-4-year college degree, preferably in graphic design
- Computer fluency in Mac and/or PC
- Proficient in all Adobe Creative Cloud products
- Knowledge of design techniques and principles
- Media production, communication, and dissemination techniques
- Good verbal & written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Must be a team player and able to work in a fluid environment
- Creativity and originality
- Able to work in a general office environment and at tradeshows
- Self-motivator
