What You Will Do:
- Designs and creates finish palettes and furniture specifications to be used in building amenities, common areas, and spec suites
- Procures, bids, and oversees furniture orders and installations for commercial properties specific to individual tenants and users
- Responsible for selecting materials for the commercial portfolio adhering to ADA and building codes
- Manages the communication with suppliers to attain up-to-date materials
- Conducts market research to determine standards within the market
- Keeps up to date on market trends to influence designs
- Coordinates assembling sample boards
- Creates design presentations for approval
- Calculates Rentable Square Footages for commercial properties that correlate directly to lease agreements
- Prepares CAD drawings for tenants and brokers
- Creates full Construction Plans including reflected ceiling plans, electrical plans, lighting plans, and interior elevations for internal and external parties
- Specifies finishes, fixtures, and equipment to be used on all commercial projects across Onni's portfolio
- Works on marketing material such as brochures, web sites and email blasts
- Works with brokerage team to establish strong support of leasing Campaign
- Performs other duties as assigned
What You Will Bring:
- ASID designation or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or related field preferred
- Very proficient in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
- 2+ years of Interior Design experience working on commercial projects preferred
- General experience in commercial furniture procurement and bidding processes
- Knowledge of local municipal and federal codes
- Knowledge of and ability to design within ADA guidelines
- Knowledge of LEED certification
- Ability to prioritize and concurrently service multiple projects
- Ability to effectively communicate with project team members or departments
