Position: Interior Designer

Role Overview:

Rockwell Group is seeking a full-time Interior Designer to join our office in Los Angeles.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze program requirements and execute space planning
  • Develop and document design concepts for overall designs and space planning from Concept through Construction Documentation
  • Assist with FF&E documentation
  • Produce 3D models and renderings with post-production in Photoshop that reflect the proposed floor plan layout, elevations, and FF&E
  • Research design materials and assist with material boxes for client review
  • Coordinate with project interior designers and project managers to ensure project completion in compliance with design intent
  • Assist with general Studio duties

Requirements:

  • 3 - 6 years of experience in architecture, interiors, and design
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture and design
  • Hospitality design experience is highly preferred
  • Experience with all project phases (Concept through Construction Administration), including built work is highly preferred
  • Strong experience in Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Cloud, Revit, AutoCAD
  • Ability to render in V-Ray or Enscape
  • Knowledge of Spec Source and/or other specification software
  • Knowledgeable in materials, millwork design, FF&E, and OS&E is preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to meet fast-pace and changing deadlines
  • Highly motivated self-starter, with an attention to detail
  • Enthusiasm for working on multi-disciplinary and highly collaborative teams

This is a full-time, in-studio position with hybrid/work-from-home flexibility, provided it does not interfere with responsibilities and complies with current office policy outlined in the Rockwell Group Handbook. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience ranging from $75,000 to $105,000 excluding bonuses and other benefits. This is a good faith estimate based on the expectations laid out in the job description. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plan, and yearly performance reviews.
