About the job Responsible for delivering visual assets from concept through execution for multiple brands within the Turning Point Brands portfolio. Applies art, design and copy layout skills to create concepts for various promotional and branding purposes such as POS, merchandising, Trade communication, other print communication, packaging, and digital assets as assigned. Less than 10% travel is required. This position has no personnel management responsibilities and reports to the Director of Marketing. The normal shift is 40 hours per week in the office with periodic extended hours as needed. This position may be assigned other duties as determined by the Supervisor. Essential Functions Collaborates with Brand Marketing, Trade Marketing, POS Manager, Legal and other project participants to understand project assignment, audience, and intended message. Develops and manages the design and production plan for a variety of print and digital media across multiple brands and clients. Maintains continuous improvement with graphic design skills and tools. Ensures consistency of the brand through brand standards; Updates current artwork as needed. Ensures all legal and federally regulated guidelines are followed. Prioritizes and manages multiple projects within design specifications within budget guidelines. Manages production files from outside agencies and coordinates delivery of projects to printing partners. Maintains archives of past and present collateral to be sure all necessary parties have access to the proper marketing collateral. Minimum Qualifications Relevant coursework/program in Graphic Design and/or 3-5 years graphic design experience. Proficient in Adobe's Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar. Working knowledge of MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to adhere to brand standards while incorporating creativity and delivering compelling designs. Ability to juggle several projects at once with staggered deadlines and works well under pressure. Strong communication skills with teammates and managers. Organized with attention to detail; demonstrated ability in proofing art, archiving assets, images, artwork. General awareness knowledge of the ISO9001 Quality Management System requirements, company Quality Policy and your contributions to the effectiveness of the QMS. Responsible for being knowledgeable of and acting in strict accordance with the requirements of all relevant laws, regulations, and Company policies, including, among other areas, Food and Drug Administration regulations Preferred Qualifications Basic HTML and CSS knowledge. 2-4 years' work experience in in the graphic design field, specifically consumer packaged goods.
