WHAT YOU’LL DO
As the Managing Editor, you will:

  • Provide assistance and excellent customer service to the editors, authors, and reviewers of APhA’s peer-reviewed journals (JAPhA, JAPhA Pharmacotherapy, JAPhA Practice Innovations, and the Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences),
  • Coordinate journal production
  • Administrative management of our manuscript submission system
  • Audit journal submission, track performance, supply and interpret data as requested
  • Maintain social media for the journals.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
APhA may be the right fit for you have:

Experience and Education required:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a field relating to communications or media is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of publications experience.

Skills, knowledge and abilities required:

  • Statistical analysis
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Publications management.

LOCATION: Washington, DC – Hybrid, two days a week in the office (Tuesday & Thursday)
