The Graphic Designer at Acme Smoked Fish plays a pivotal role within the marketing department, contributing to the growth and success of the Acme brands. This position primarily focuses on packaging design, ensuring the visual identity aligns with brand objectives and resonates with target audiences.
What You Will Do At Acme:
- Develop best-in-class packaging designs for all our products, in conjunction with Acme’s in house Creative Lead. This includes:
- Mockups when needed for pre-selling or before actual printed packaging is available.
- Rendering of packaging for selling materials (which may include sell sheets, product catalogues, powerpoint presentations, etc.)
- Update and generate packaging for Acme’s website in conjunction with the marketing team.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously ensuring on-time delivery.
- Ensure all creative work is consistent, meets quality standards and adheres to brand guidelines.
- Keep abreast of market trends and bring new ideas to the table to keep our packaging fresh and relevant.
- Understand needs of business to inform packaging work.
- Work and collaborate with other Marketing Team members and Packaging Engineer(s) as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
About You
Your Education & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of graphic design experience.
- Experience working with and creating print ready dielines.
- B2B and B2C design experience.
- In Store Merchandising and/or Display experience.
- Luxury or Food brand experience.

- Strong understanding of brand identity and aesthetics.
- Experience with packaging photography is a plus.

- Highly detail-oriented and committed to meeting deadlines.
- A passionate professional with a love for food; an interest in smoked fish is a bonus.
- Completion of assigned training programs, including adherence to standards of work.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Health & Safety Requirements:
- Observe and follow all safety rules.
- Wear required PPE.
- Follow mandated OSHA regulations.
- Report all incidents including near misses immediately.
Compensation Range: $108,000 - $140,000 annually.
*This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skillsets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
