The Graphics Solutions Business Financial Consultant, recognized as a trusted advisor and expert in the graphic arts industry, you will be required to understand and support the needs of HP customers and our sales force to meet or exceed revenue, profitability, market share, and other business goals. Working with the account teams, you will be responsible for helping both current and prospective customers determine the financial benefit of using HP Indigo and PageWide Web Press Solutions. You will also influence the overall account management and business planning consultation. As a Financial Consultant, you will be recognized as an expert in the use and support of appropriate tools and applications made available to the field and to customers.
The Graphics Solutions Business has aggressive revenue goals balanced against a very large market opportunity with the largest and most unique portfolio in the industry. You will be expected to directly interact with the varying levels of management inside each of your existing/prospective customer accounts, as well as with senior management inside HP. You will work closely with the region sales, marketing, and category teams to set and align appropriate business objectives and track monthly/quarterly progress against those objectives. This role will be based in the US as a remote employee. There will be occasional travel to HP's regional sites and approximately 15% to 30% travel supporting the field sales teams.
Responsibilities:
• Financial Analysis directly supporting segment and accounts sales teams to quantify the financial benefit from HP's Indigo and PageWide Web Press solutions
• Leverages financial and accounting concepts as well as capital investment concepts in demonstrating business value of proposed solutions to customers.
• Persuasively communicates the value of the solution in terms of financial return and impact on customer business goals.
• Actively supports the account team with solution advice, proposals, presentations, and other customer communications.
• Analyzes and provides support to deals in the pipeline where needed.
• Appropriately tailors communications to varying levels of customer management.
• Builds customer loyalty through being a trusted advisor.
• Support as directed the overall launch strategy for supporting tools made available to field and to customers
• Participate in the creation and deployment of training for supporting tools, providing content and feedback as needed
• Manage escalated support issues from the field or directly from customers
• Support live customer demonstrations at the Graphics Experience Center in Alpharetta, GA
• Actively involved in speaking engagements and peer groups within the industry
• Requires an in-depth understanding of financial flows and terms related to P&L, Balance Sheet, Cost and Managerial Accounting, etc.
Education, Skills and Experience
• Bachelor's or Masters degree in a business (Sales, Marketing, Business, Economics) or technical discipline (Printing, Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prefer 8+ years of consulting experience plus sound knowledge of the graphic arts industry
• Requires knowledge of both conventional and digital printing presses, workflow, and finishing technologies.
• Knowledge of competing digital printing solutions
Experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Result oriented end-user customer sales including consultative practices
• Quantitative business and/or financial analysis
• Technical assistance provided within selling process
• Product demonstrations, customer training and product installation responsibilities
• Working with external partners to deliver solution sales
• Interface with all levels in customer organization
• Track record of consistent sales quota performance
• Coordination or team leading with other sales professionals
• Project management role
• Development and execution of Business Plan; tracking performance

The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $133,600 to $205,750 annually, with a 80/20 (salary/incentive) mix. There are additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
