The hybrid schedule is 2 days remote and three days onsite in Washington, DC.

Provides library technical and research services to internal clients across the organization.

1. Conducts literature reviews, market scans, and legal research; compiles, organizes, synthesizes, evaluates, analyzes, and interprets research results.
2. Assists in the operations and administration of the organization's internal Knowledge
Management system and other research databases
3. Troubleshoots and resolve complex connectivity issues: user support, authentication, database and e-journal changes, subscription platform changes, network, and IP issues, etc.
4. Assists in building, authoring, and designing library web pages.
5. Assists in creating new library programming and marketing Library products and services.
6. Assists in giving library overview and instruction sessions, creating user guides, videos, and tutorials as needed.
7. Monitors and responds to "Ask a Librarian" email information requests and provides in-person reference service in the physical library.
8. Assists in monitoring and updating of the library chatbot.
9. Performs routine library collection maintenance and processing, including checking and shelving books, magazines, copy cataloging, and tracking and maintaining statistics.
10. Creates, develops, and maintains library resource guides (using LibGuides)
11. Participates in special projects and any other duties as assigned

Requirements
•Master's degree in Library Science (ALA accredited)
•3+ years of experience
•Expertise in using SharePoint (Modern - for web authoring), Knowledge Management systems, Integrated Library Systems (ILS), Chatbot, graphic design tools (CANVA), and MS Suite of tools. Knowledge of emerging technologies including Gen AI.
•Expertise in searching the Web and commercial database services such as Lexis-Nexis, Westlaw, EBSCOhost, and Factiva.
•Ability to synthesize and provide actionable information on research findings.
•Ability to work independently, within a collaborative structure, and in a high-production environment.
•Ability to prioritize and work well under short deadlines.
•Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
