Marketing Specialist

Seeking to add a motivated, driven, creative and open-minded full-time Marketing Specialist to our team.

We work a full-time schedule with flexible work hours in our office located in downtown Houston.

This critical role to our recruiting firm’s success will be an integral enabler with our social media campaigns, follower growth, communication and marketing strategies, advertising and business development, internal communication, as well as our branding and presence in key sectors of our core industries. She/he will also have the opportunity to work with some of the recruiting industry’s veteran Recruiters and Sourcers, including former SpaceX employees, which have hired talent for Elon Musk’s rocket company, at the highest caliber.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO…

Marketing and Communication

  • Assist with branding initiatives, including sponsorship opportunities
  • Create and manage social media campaigns for attracting followers
  • Manage and build up social media pages, outreach, and sites
  • Job Ad Creation using Adobe suite, Canva, and other tools
  • Help manage company swag store with promotional products
  • Put together marketing gift packages for new and ongoing clients
  • Visit local businesses for new business development opportunities
  • Develop creative strategies and fun methods/events for enhancing our internal communication and team building

Outreach and Event Planning

  • Organize networking events, mixers, conference trips, sponsorship events
  • Plan and participate in luncheons/happy hours/dinners/etc. with current and prospective clients
  • Partner and build relationships with key university personnel for networking and identifying top talent
  • Reach out to potential new clients via multi-channel communication methods (phone, in-person, email, text, social, etc.)

Recruitment Marketing Support

  • Maintain and enhance our career portal/website with job ads and announcements
  • Drive social media initiatives for attracting candidates to job opportunities
  • Manage marketing and advertising of job openings with colleges and universities across the US as warranted
  • Provide ongoing support to Recruiter teammates with a variety of extra marketing initiatives, depending on specific job search priority, urgency, and criticality

WHAT WE’RE SEEKING…

  • Marketing experience in industry, preferably supporting internal clients with minimal guidance
  • Social media management experience, preferably supporting smaller companies with needs to increase following and build new social media platform presence from the ground up
  • Experienced with Adobe suite and other marketing/advertising design tools
  • Strong desire to learn, grow, and develop
  • Hardworking and not opposed to taking on extra projects and implementing new ideas
