Privately owned and founded in 1989, MCi is experiencing rapid growth and global expansion and is searching for a Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This position will focus on organizing and executing company events, including, but not limited to, conferences, tradeshows, and webinars that align with our strategies and promote our brand. We seek an organized and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has excellent communication and project management skills.
Management Controls is headquartered in Houston, TX, and has a hybrid schedule: three days in the office and two days working from home each week. This position is not open to 100% remote at this time
Duties and responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of event preparation, such as coordinating with vendors, securing booth spaces, registering attendees, organizing promotional materials, and ensuring shipping/logistical needs are met
- Oversee the day-to-day inventory of promotional items, show properties, and collateral, and coordinate reordering stock
- Research and source promotional items, as needed
- Assist in the planning and execution of event marketing campaigns, through digital platforms and traditional media
- Coordinate social media postings, email campaigns, and other digital and/or traditional marketing promotions as needed
- Manage marketing calendars and schedules through our project planning platform
- Liaise and collaborate with the marketing team and other departments on other projects, as assigned
- Maintain a database of marketing contacts and partnerships
Qualifications include:
- 1-3 years of experience in Marketing and/or related field
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field
- Understanding of event coordination and logistics, social media
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Proven track record of responsibility and dependability
- Experience with Salesforce, Asana, HubSpot or similar platforms
