Winpak is seeking a Marketing Manager to join the Marketing Department based out of Sauk Village, IL.

As a key member of the team, the Marketing Manager – Products and Services will report to the Senior Marketing Manager and lead marketing execution for specific Business Units, focusing on container, closure, and automation packaging solutions. This role is responsible for managing core products and services, driving new revenue streams, improving profitability, and growing market share.

In this role you will oversee a 3-year roadmap for products and services, with a focus on achieving profitable growth in core markets, including Food & Beverage, Dairy, Protein, Healthcare, Machinery, and Latin America.

This role is crucial for maintaining Winpak's leadership in the single-serve, portion control market segments and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide market insights, lead projects, and guide investment decisions aligned with Winpak's strategic goals.

In partnership with Sales Managers, and collaborating closely with Technical, Operations, and Finance teams, you will develop and manage go-to-market strategies to drive growth, increase asset utilization, and expand new and existing product offerings.

Key Responsibilities

Market & Product Strategy

  • Develop marketing tactics for product strategies and provide forecasting for operating plans and sales.
  • Manage product profitability in line with the Annual Budget and Strategic Plan.
  • Drive pricing strategy, incorporating One Winpak value proposition and 3C analysis (Company, Competition, Customer).
  • Lead B2B product promotions with corporate communications to align with One Winpak Vision.
  • Guide teams to execute customer bids and RFQs, supporting sales with relevant knowledge.
  • Collaborate with market intelligence agencies to provide segment reports and consumer insights.
New and Core Products & Services
  • Provide marketing input for ERP implementation and drive solutions for quotes, forecasting, and MRP.
  • Manage sales tools, CRM solutions, and Winpak Intranet Marketing Pages.
  • Map client journeys, develop engagement touchpoints, and manage product lifecycles.
  • Develop One Winpak value proposition for evaluating new business opportunities.
  • Support sales in building customer relationships and marketing new products.
  • Collaborate with Innovation and Technical teams to promote NTW/NTC platforms and develop a 3-year product roadmap.
  • Create promotional programs for new market segments and channels.
Demand Generation and Sales Enablement
  • Build industry relationships for lead generation.
  • Guide teams in negotiations and secure multi-year agreements; collaborate with Finance on forecasts.
  • Work with Technical and R&D teams on product lifecycle analysis and next-gen product plans
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in a Marketing role, Product Manager, Sales or Business Development
  • 3+ years of experience in a B2B role within the packaging or automation industry
  • 5+ years of experience coaching, guiding or mentoring teams
  • 5+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite including (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams) and MRP software (Ex. Movex, SAP, Oracle)
  • Bachelor’s in business administration, Engineering, Science or related field required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience managing products & services with customers within the packaging industry
  • 5+ years of experience in a formal or informal leadership position
  • 3+ years of experience in the Packaging, Food & Beverage, Healthcare, or consumer products industry including materials and manufacturing
  • MBA in Marketing, Business or equivalent, preferred but not required
Additional Details:
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time. This includes travel to other Winpak BU’s, customers, trade shows and sales meetings.
Salary Range: $120,000 to $135,000
