We are seeking an experienced and dynamic marketing leader to take on the role of Director for our Cyber and Data Resilience business unit. In this role, you will oversee the development and execution of global marketing strategies that position Kroll as a thought leader in cybersecurity, data privacy, and resilience. You will be responsible for managing multi-channel marketing campaigns, fostering brand recognition, driving business growth, and supporting our subject matter experts in building their professional presence within this rapidly evolving space. Day to Day Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with senior business leaders and the global marketing leadership team to develop and lead the overall marketing strategy for the Cyber & Data Resilience practice. Align marketing initiatives with business objectives and market demands. Cyber & Data Resilience Focus: Shape, implement, and manage integrated marketing activities specifically tailored to cybersecurity, data privacy, and cyber resilience services across the Americas. Ensure all campaigns address the unique challenges and opportunities in the cybersecurity landscape. Client Engagement & Relationship Management: Work closely with business development teams and key account managers to develop tailored marketing strategies that drive long-term client relationships and growth. Leverage account-based marketing (ABM) approaches to create targeted campaigns for high-value clients in the cybersecurity and data resilience space. Market Analysis & Trend Monitoring: Stay ahead of the rapidly evolving cybersecurity landscape by continually monitoring emerging threats, regulatory shifts, and market trends. Provide data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies and ensure Kroll's offerings and messaging remain relevant and impactful. Regularly share these insights with both internal stakeholders and clients to maintain a competitive edge. Ensure marketing strategies are informed by a thorough understanding of key cybersecurity and data privacy regulations affecting clients, such as GDPR, CCPA, and NIST Thought Leadership Development: Partner with content and thought leadership teams to create compelling narratives around cyber resilience. Lead the creation of reports, whitepapers, case studies, and multimedia content that positions Kroll as a leader in the cyber and data resilience space. Proactively identify opportunities for experts within the firm to contribute to industry publications, panels, webinars, and conferences. Public Relations & Communications: Elevate Kroll's brand and practitioner profiles by driving targeted PR efforts. Collaborate with external PR agencies and internal communications teams to promote thought leadership and subject matter expertise in cybersecurity and resilience. Develop strategies to secure media placements, engage with influential industry outlets, and position key executives as thought leaders. Event Strategy & Execution: Plan, execute, and lead high-profile events, including global virtual and live conferences, sponsorships, and Kroll-hosted events. Ensure these events elevate Kroll's brand, highlight key cybersecurity challenges, and drive engagement with industry stakeholders. Collaboration with Client-Facing Teams: Work closely with consultants and partners to understand client challenges and translate these insights into compelling marketing materials. Support practitioners by preparing them for speaking engagements, client presentations, and other thought leadership opportunities. Sales Enablement & Cross-Selling: Collaborate with other practice groups to identify cross-selling opportunities where cybersecurity and data resilience services can complement other Kroll offerings. Develop integrated marketing campaigns that showcase the firm's full suite of services to address clients' broader governance, risk, and compliance needs. Lead internal communication efforts to highlight new service offerings, client success stories, and industry insights. Metrics & Reporting: Establish KPIs for all marketing initiatives, assess their effectiveness, and provide data-driven recommendations to optimize future campaigns. Use performance metrics to optimize future campaigns and ensure alignment with firm-wide revenue goals. Essential Traits: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. An MBA or relevant certification in cybersecurity or data privacy is a plus. 8 years of experience in a senior marketing role, with a proven track record in leading successful, multi-channel marketing campaigns, particularly within cybersecurity, data resilience, or a related field. Demonstrated ability to work at both a strategic and tactical level, translating business objectives into effective marketing strategies that deliver measurable results. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling messaging for a variety of audiences. Experience managing large-scale events and developing thought leadership in highly technical fields like cybersecurity. Experience in professional services marketing environment is an asset. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Deep knowledge of digital marketing tools, including Salesforce, Eloqua (or similar marketing platforms), and analytics tools to drive data-based decision-making. Comfortable leading cross-functional teams and working collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives. Creative and forward-thinking, with a passion for driving innovation in marketing practices. Willingness to travel domestically as needed.
