DescriptionThe Marketing Coordinator position is primarily responsible for managing, leading, directing and coordinating all activities that contribute to revenue growth and the positive influence of the restaurant in our community. The incumbent will assist the Operator and Lead Team in directing, coordinating, improving, and managing all Marketing activities in the store with operational efficiency and effectiveness. This includes but is not limited to facilitating events, creatively preparing, and managing store organization and decoration, planning, and developing social media posts, promotion of seasonal items for sale through campaign development as well as changing menu inserts and pop material at the store.Core Functions:Event planning and managementInternally and externally markets the Chick-Fil-A brand to promote season campaigns, new product launches, and internal care for team membersStore decor and organizationCreates quarterly plans for seasonal activity in all three stores. Including decorations, promotional material, and general organization and cleanliness in the storeAssesses needs for outside promotional material and ensures organized implementation of the sameBrand growth campaign developmentCreates and develops a monthly marketing plan and campaign to facilitate brand growth which includes new product launches, corporate level, market level, and local marketing campaigns for each storeCreate content and engage followers on restaurant's social media pagesDevelops content to support local sales and marketing initiatives to sustain revenue growthCoordinates local store content development through store marketing representativesServes stores in limited operational capacityCommunity engagementSponsorships - seeks active partnerships with local agencies to promote brand representationDonations - caring well for the needs of our communityPartnerships - partnering with entrepreneurs and/or organizations to engage in business development while serving our communityRequirementsBachelors Degree in Marketing Management or related discipline or equivalent experienceDemonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be creative, energized, and highly motivated to accomplish goalsAble to motivate and manage a team while maintaining unityShows ability and confidence to take ideas from concept, through final application, and executionAbility to steward social media platforms that are on par with operator's vision and brand standardsEnjoys serving othersAbility to negotiate with character and integrityCompany InformationLocated in Bradenton, FL, Chick-fil-A Cortez Plaza and Chick-fil-A Manatee are run by Nathan Hoeksema, who become a Chick-fil-A Operator in 2000 at the age of 23! While working behind the Chick-fil-A counter at age 15, Nathan was captured by the company's mission and after college, felt called to pursue Chick-fil-A as his place of mission. After 11 years of operating and seeing tremendous success in his first restaurant location, Nathan was presented with the opportunity to move to Bradenton and open his current restaurant in the fall of 2013. Since opening in 2013, the team has consecutively increased store sales with a projection to be in the top 10 stores in the entire Chick-fil-A chain by the end of 2019. Now in 2023 Cortez Plaza is in the top 3 stores in the entire chain. Also in 2023 Nathan has opened his second location: Chick-fil-A Manatee.
