Overview

Pay Range
USD $60,000.00 - USD $65,000.00 /Hr.
This position is responsible for managing and executing all aspects of Casino Marketing Special Events for the property both on and off-site. Responsibilities
- Manage staff responsible for event and promotion execution.
- Develop and manage event and promotions calendar and annual plan.
- Manage budget and expenses related to entertainment, special events and promotions.
- Supervise, manage, and schedule all events, such as tournaments, casino promotions, retail events and entertainment.
- Provide financial analysis on all marketing events or promotions.
- Coordinate with Player Development team to support VIP events and promotions.
- Hire, develop, evaluate, coach and counsel Special Events, Entertainment and Promotions support team members, ensuring team members receive training, support and adequate guidance and resources.
- Oversee development and execution of promotions and events including but not limited to building kiosk promotions, drafting rules, ordering supplies, and other activities necessary to execute activations.
- Work with database manager and brand marketing team to ensure all communication pieces are effectively created and executed.
- Hire promotional staff as needed and approved for special events.
- Plan events from start to finish according to requirements, target audience, and objectives.
- Maintain communication with vendors to ensure that signed contracts, payments, timelines, and any other pertinent information is received and handled in a timely manner.
- Monitor performance and ticketing process to assure compliance with OSHA, Gaming Control Board, and other auditors.
- Support marketing and property executive leadership.
- Work with internal departments to fulfill their special entertainment needs.
- Communicate marketing and property leadership objectives and updates to team members.
- Represent the marketing department in a positive manner to any outside individuals.
- Ensure internal departmental event procedures/responsibilities are communicated thoroughly and understood.
- Perform and/or learn all aspects of Casino Marketing that may or may not be included in this job description.
- Other duties and responsibilities as needed.

- Requires full knowledge of all areas of casino operations, casino marketing, and hospitality in a resort setting.
- Ability to prioritize and work on several projects simultaneously.
- Command of various software programs - including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Understanding and ability to troubleshoot customer and team member disputes as they relate to this role.
- Must possess strong communication and listening skills including excellent speaking, reading and writing.
- Ability to communicate with and understand technical terminology used in casino and resort environment.
- Ability to review and comprehend all necessary documentation, contracts, financials, and reporting.
- Must be well organized and detail oriented and be able to perform many tasks at one time.
- Available to work in a 24-hour, 7 day a week environment.
- Minimum age requirement is 21.
