Social Media Marketing Specialist

NUWAVE is a rapidly growing communications company that aims to revolutionize cloud communications management. We are currently seeking an experienced Social Media specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have the ability to analyze data and research and translate them into actionable marketing plans that can inform branding and campaign development. The specialist will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing marketing social media campaigns that align with organizational objectives.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

We are seeking a talented and motivated Social Media Specialist to join our team. As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and implementing our social media strategy to increase awareness and engagement with our brand. You will have a deep understanding of various social media platforms, as well as experience in developing engaging content that resonates with our target audience. The successful candidate will be a creative thinker, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME
  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and drive engagement
  • Create and publish engaging content across various social media platforms, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram
  • Monitor social media channels for customer feedback and respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner
  • Analyze and report on social media metrics, such as impressions, reach, and engagement, to optimize future content strategies
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and platforms and recommend innovative ideas to enhance our social media presence
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and Service to ensure cohesive brand messaging across all social media channels
  • Identify and engage with influencers and brand advocates to amplify our social media reach
  • Collaborate with Marketing Director to produce a Social Media Calendar which aligns with our company goals.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
  • Understanding of social media analytics tools, such as Google Analytics and Facebook Insights
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling and management tools, such as Hootsuite or Sprout Social
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of current social media best practices and trends
  • Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
