Marketing & Communications (MarCom) manages all marketing and branding efforts for Reid Health and Reid Health Physician Associates. Marketing Coordinator (MC) serves as a resource for co-workers and others to accomplish the goals of the department and the organization. The MC will perform a variety of administrative and marketing duties.

Overview of Responsibilities:

1. Telephone coverage MC is the primary person to answer department phone. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are required.
2. Monitor SharePoint project request list (daily) Make assignments accordingly within department.
3. Competitive research Complete competitive research as assigned by director or marketing manager to support strategic campaign development. Will include online research and SmartSheet development/tracking.
4. Coordinate Chamber of Commerce relationships Main contact for regional Chambers. Renew annual memberships, organize marketing opportunities available through the Chambers, including event sponsorships
5. Coordinate community partnerships & engagement strategies Work with Marketing Specialist to finalize community sponsorships (paperwork, check requests, marketing benefits, etc.) and Reids event presence and engagement (booths, speakers, goody bag items, planning logistics, etc.)
6. Track print orders Track via SmartSheet print items ordered on behalf of other departments and/or the organization.
7. Coordinate surveys Coordinate creation, testing, reporting of surveys for the organization using web-based platform, Survey Monkey
8. Coordinate web events calendar Coordinate with marketing specialist and follow department process for promoting events to the general public at ReidHealth.org.
9. Prepare/Coordinate Monthly Health Observances for Reids CEO using approved resources and preferred format. Using these lists, proactively connect with departments/service lines for opportunities to promote services through organized observances; coordinate plan and collaborate with marketing specialist on social media strategy.
10. Complete requisitions, purchase orders, check requests, contract validation forms as needed
11. Assist with proofreading articles and ad copy created by other department members
12. Invoice scanning Provide Accounts Payable with scanned invoices as received
13. Process requests for standard logo items received via the SharePoint project list
14. Website maintenance Assist with website content updates. Training will be arranged with web developer for proprietary platform, Octane
15. Social media monitoring All department members actively observe comments, messages, posts directed at or about the organization. Personal social media activity must be modest and representative of your position within the organization.
16. Complete annual professional growth goals utilizing tools available through the department, such as LinkedIn Learning, Google, Microsoft, SmartSheet, etc.
17. Emergency Management/Codes Learn and follow Reid emergency management plan and the department code response for each. DA will assist director with maintaining department codes. Serve as department Safety Rep.
18. Other administrative duties as assigned or identified.



Education/Experience:

Education Required: Associates degree or some college completed/actively pursuing a relevant degree

Education Preferred: Bachelors degree preferred in a relevant field

Experience Required: Computer literacy required including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Excellent written and oral command of the English language. Writing/proofreading is a function of this department, and the MC may be called upon to proofread the work of others. Must be well organized and able to work independently and proactively.

Experience Preferred: Experience/proficiency in SmartSheet is appreciated, though training will be provided. Experience/comfort level with back-end website updating is helpful. Training will be provided on proprietary platform, Octane.

Work Environment

The work will be performed in an office setting with other department members present. All team members work in interconnected work stations.

Overtime: Rarely; may occur in connection with department-led community events and/or organizational initiatives.

Schedule Details:
Day Shift. 40 hours weekly. Monday - Friday. Occasional evenings or weekends to support events.
