Insight Global is currently seeking a Social Media Specialist to join the Professional Bowlers Association marketing team. The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for managing the social media presence and content strategy for key company initiatives including leagues, tournaments and live events â PBA Tours, Membership programs, and more on social channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok). They will report into and work closely with the VP of Media, who oversees the PBA marketing strategy. The pay rate for this role is $55-60k depending on experience. Content Development and Strategy:- Assists in strategy and planning of social media content for events, programs, tournaments, and players.- Assists in planning and creation of assets with in-house creative team- Creates and sources content (photography and videography) to post on social channels during PBA Tour televised competition hours.- Assist with video content creation on-site during PBA National Tournaments .- Manages and maintains PBA master social media content calendar, in addition to scheduling all posts.- Identifies content to distribute to players on a weekly basis-Identifies opportunities for real-time social posts, not tied to live events.-Drives the development of follower growth.- Collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure social content aligns with events and tournaments.Community Management:-Manages community relationships, engaging with fans across all platforms- Engages with players and fans, seeks out opportunities for reposting- Collaborates with internal stakeholders to escalate complaints or event inquiresMonitoring & Reporting:-Assists in analysis and reporting of social campaigns, monitoring benchmarks, and measuring the impact of social media on business goals-Actively follows competitors and industry news to identify trends and topicsWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Required Skills & Experience- B.S/B.A in Public Relations, Marketing, Business Communications, or related field-Experience creating social content or demonstrate the ability to do so on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok- At least 2+ years related full-time experience-Ability to work nights and weekends during the Tour season- Ability to travel 30% of the year.-Creative and energetic personality-Experience with sports photography and video editing-Excellent ability to multi-task and post social content in real-time- Outstanding, error-free communication skills, including the ability to master the PBA brand voice Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
