To enhance brand awareness, new customer acquisition, and customer activation and retention by overseeing the execution of OneUnited Bank’s marketing and communications strategy, including content development, active management of community engagement on all marketing channels, brand monitoring, social media advertising, customer and employee communications, and monthly reporting on success metrics. Provides marketing and communications support to all areas of the Bank including Information Technology Retail, Lending, and Human Resources. RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Support the implementation and growth of a comprehensive marketing strategy to enhance brand awareness, new customer acquisition, and customer activation and retention. Maintain a consistent brand voice across all marketing channels. Manage the development and execution of branded OneUnited Bank content including blog posts, eBooks, online advertising, website design, email blasts, daily social media posts, and radio and television ads. Work in tandem with other bank business units to ensure seamless integration and cross-channel support. Manage the Bank’s image that is consistent with the Bank’s mission on a day-to-day basis, including support of all community and PR initiatives. Identify new opportunities in marketing for the Bank to advantageously utilize for customer acquisition and brand awareness. Work with Customer Service teams to properly manage customer service issues initiated through social channels. Oversee the implementation of a social media internship program including but not limited to: recruiting, scheduling, training, individual development, and deliverables. Monitor the performance of the Bank’s marketing efforts with reporting on key metrics. Provide marketing and communications support to all areas of the Bank including Information Technology Retail, Lending, and Human Resources. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate must have demonstrated social media marketing expertise. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a consumer-facing social media marketing role. Experience with content development and web design. Excellent analytical, oral, and written communication skills. Experience managing a marketing and communications team and the ability to collaborate with a strong team of managers are required. Demonstrable experience creating, managing, and reporting on social media ad campaigns, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and Google. Experience with third-party social media dashboard platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sprout Social, and/or Hootsuite is required.
