Purpose:
As a Social Media Intern at Edible, you'll contribute to growing and amplifying our brand presence across various platforms, increasing social engagement, and ensuring the continuous growth and success of our social media presence.

Location: This position will work onsite out of our home office in Sandy Springs, GA, with work from home flexibility on Fridays.
Duration & Schedule: Spring Semester Internship through May, with potential to extend through summer. Full time OR Part time – willing to discuss schedule and availability around classes
What that looks like day to day:
- Assisting with the creation of weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote Edible across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Threads
- Create, edit and distribute content such as short-form videos, meme graphics and images
- Brainstorm and research ideas for original content and fresh ideas to execute
- Source current TikTok trends that are relevant to the brand
- Assist with curating user generated content
- Write social media captions that speak to the brand’s target audience
- Support the team on in-house photo/video content shoot
- Assist with the development and implementation of new strategies that: increase social engagement, drive conversation and chatter with fans & followers, and give people a reason to follow Edible
- Assist in supporting across influencer campaigns; inclusive of sourcing influencers, monitoring / cross promoting content, engaging with their content, and helping on gifting fulfillment
- Respond to customer comments and DMs on social platforms
- Assist with the monitoring of content performance to identifying what’s working (or not), and using this to optimize all future content
- Support the Marketing team by providing weekly read-outs on content performance, inclusive of actionable insights and learnings to inform future posts
- Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability
Requirements and essential competencies:
- Pursuing or recently graduated in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- Self-motivated, strong attention to detail, and works well collaborating with cross functional teams
- Curious about the latest trends throughout marketing, culture, and specifically across social media
- Creative problem solver who is solutions oriented
- Organized with strong time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple requests / projects at once
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
