This position is for the full academic year, open only to enrolled upperclassmen. Freshmen are not eligible to apply for this position.
Expected hours of work per week: 10
Work Location & Hours: Chapel 119; M-TH 8am-10pm, F 8am-6pm, Sat 10am-6pm (additional hours may apply for concerts/events)

Physical Demands
Sitting: Remaining in the seated position
Lifting: Raising or lowering an object from one level to another (includes upward pulling) 25-50 lbs.
Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to clients or to the public and to convey detailed spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly

Qualifications for Position:
- Office skills such as Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc. and/or their Word, Excel, and Publisher counterparts
- Ability to lift, pull, push heavy objects such as music chairs and stands and musical instruments
- Ability to interact with visitors such as prospective students and their parents, guest artists, and others.
- Some positions require piano skills used to accompany voice lessons.
Expected Duties and Responsibilities:
- Setting and striking the stage for music related events
- Monitoring of practice rooms on an assigned schedule
- Accompany voice lessons on piano (selected students)
- Hosting and assisting at music department events and concerts
- Maintaining databases such as inventories of department owned equipment and materials
- Assisting music faculty/staff with grading and other duties as required, such as planning and executing events and tours
- Commit to work 10 hours per week (hrs may be M-TH 8am-10pm, F 8am-6pm, Sat 10am-6pm)
