Job Summary: To assist the PR Department with day to day functions, special events, and the Cary website.
Essential Duties:
- Reception for Public Relations Department.
- Maintains a working knowledge of organizational and departmental policies and practices, along with the ability to answer questions, or find answers to questions.
- Processes all billing for Public Relations Department
- Maintains adequate Office Supplies.
- Manages routine correspondence
- Assists PR Director with Scheduling
- Supports Special Events when necessary
- Coordinates monthly Soup Kitchen program
- Assists with Special Program Coordination, ex. 100 Miles in 100 Days
- Publishes Hospital Cafeteria Menu
- Provides Birth Announcements to local media
- Creates list of new employees for Heartbeat
- Researches Health Related Articles for Seniority News letter
- Prints Patient Welcome Packets
- Other appropriate duties as assigned by PR Director
Requirements
Education, Skills, Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of High School Diploma, plus 2-3 years related experience in the workplace.
- Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Maintain the ability to organize, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
- Basic computer knowledge of work processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Represent the PR Department with exceptional customer service skills
