ARFA Solutions, LLC is seeking a talented and experienced Technical Writer to join our team. As a Technical Writer, you will play a critical role in creating clear and concise technical documentation to support our software products and services. You will work closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and transform complex technical concepts into user-friendly documentation.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and understand software features and functionality
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise documentation
- Create user guides, installation guides, API documentation, and other technical documents as needed
- Organize and structure information effectively for ease of understanding and navigation
- Adhere to style guides and documentation standards to ensure consistency and quality
- Work with software developers to review and validate documentation
- Update and maintain existing documentation to reflect product updates and changes
- Continuously improve documentation processes and tools
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer or similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to understand complex technical concepts and explain them in a clear and concise manner
- Experience with documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Confluence, or similar
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience in the software industry or related field is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
