JD For Incident Manager
The Technical Writer will be focused on editing and data entry/manipulation. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of experience and is very trainable and detail oriented.
Scope of Work Examples:
•System, process, and technical documentation; training materials, user guides, communications tables, forms, and flow-charts
•Coordinates review and editing of technical documentation
•Works in conjunction with a Global Procedures Library (GPL)
•Delivers written documentation, including technical specifications, procedures, user manuals and quick reference guides
•Coordinates grammatical, structural, and numbering review of technical documentation.
•Delivers written and electronic documentation, including documentation database content, and metadata tags, form creation, PDF output, and application-embedded online help
•Edits and revises requirements for systems documentation, analyzes existing documentation for potential gaps and connections across a large library of information
•Edits written material for grammar, clarity and audience comprehension
•Provides editorial review of existing documentation for correct structure and meta data completion
•Responds to general questions about language, writing and writing tools
•Supports project teams by developing sets of documentation
•Maintains policy compliance and branding requirements (e.g., copyright, trademark usage)
Qualifications/Skills:
•Technical Writer with (2-4) years of experience
•Must be proficient in Microsoft® Office Suite
•Must be detail oriented
Education:
•Associate degree or equivalent
