FMP Consulting is currently seeking a Junior UX/UI Designer to join our growing team.

As a UX/UI Designer at FMP, you will have the unique opportunity to:

Conduct user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to understand user needs, preferences, and behaviors.

Organize and structure content and features to create an intuitive and logical user flow.

Develop interactive prototypes to test and validate design concepts and user flows.

Develop user personas to represent target audience segments and ensure the design meets their needs.

Focus on the look and feel of the product, including color schemes, typography, iconography, and visual elements.

Define how users interact with the product, including buttons, menus, and other interactive elements.

Qualifications

Desired experience:

A degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field with 2-3 years of hands on experience

Ability to create interactive prototypes using tools like Axure, Marvel, or Principle

HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Ability to design low to high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes

Proficiency in designing interfaces that work seamlessly across devices

A strong grasp of color theory, typography, and layout

Experience conducting user interviews, surveys, and usability tests

Ability to develop user personas based on research

Skills in mapping out user journeys and designing seamless user flows

Familiarity with Section 508 compliance and other federal guidelines related to web accessibility

A basic understanding of the federal security standards that pertain to web interfaces

Experience working with federal agencies or contractors and understanding their specific requirements and processes

Pay Range: $60,000 - 100,000 commensurate with experience
