Position: UI/UX Developer
Location: Tallahassee, FL (Onsite Role)
Contract
The Contractor must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
5.1. Eight years of experience with object-oriented development techniques and core front-end technologies like React, Angular, Blazor, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, or another JavaScript framework.
5.2. Five years of experience with designing user interface for Web application using interactive and visual design principles.
5.3. Five years of experience with designing responsive web pages compatible with mobile or tablet platforms.
5.4. Five years of experience with creating wireframes, storyboards, use flows, process flows and site documentation.
5.5. Five years of experience making web pages ADA complaint and incorporating the same in the front-end design.
5.6. Five years of experience with design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or other design or wire- framing tools.
5.7. Five years of experience with understanding of cross-platform and cross-browser issues and testing.
5.8. Five years of experience in change management best practices, serving in a code promotion role in partnership with development team...
5.9. Five years of experience with graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other visual design tools.
5.10. Three years of experience with Source Control systems such as Visual Studio Team Services or Team Foundation Server.
5.11. Three years of experience with software build and release management methodologies. Three years of experience in healthcare IT domain using Agile Scrum framework.
Responsibilities:
6.1. SERVICE TASKS: Contractor will perform the following tasks in the time and manner specified: 6.1.1. Develop and deliver interactive and visual web pages to support system functions as defined in use requirements daily as directed by the Department.
6.1.2. Collaborate with development team to develop and implement innovative user interfaces for systems daily as directed by the Department.
6.1.3. Collaborate with product owners and stakeholder to define and design user workflow and business process daily as directed by the Department.
6.1.4. Test web pages for ADA Compliance daily as assigned by the Department.
6.1.5. Report issues identified to development team daily as assigned by the Department.
6.1.6. Perform testing on system changes to meet user-defined requirements daily as assigned by the Department.
6.1.7. Develop and implement visual and interactive design stages from concept to final design daily as assigned by the Department
6.1.8. Implement designs into functioning react or Angular or Blazor or other JavaScript portals with associated style and images as assigned by the Department.
6.1.9. Develop user friendly interfaces that increases user interaction with web pages daily as assigned by the Department.
6.1.10. Produce work estimates to implement user-defined requirements and system changes daily as assigned by the Department
6.1.11. Add and update tasks to Product Backlog items and complete task daily as assigned by the Department.
6.1.12. Provide analytical services on systems to implement user-defined requirements daily as assigned by the Department.
6.1.13. Document business users' recommendations for the website and conceptualize them daily as assigned by the Department.
6.1.14. Develop and design the layout of the Florida MMP website using The Florida Department of Health stand techniques and guidelines as assigned by the Department.
6.1.15. Design, develop, and deliver ADAP complaint website for Florida MMP project as assigned by the Department.
6.1.16. Design, develop, and deliver content management with SQL backend daily as assigned by the Department.
6.1.17. Coordinate with Department's webmaster team to evaluate and deliver website daily as assigned
by the Department.
6.1.18. Develop and deliver cross browser and mobile compatible website daily as assigned by the Department.
6.1.19. Develop and deliver error free, creative, and innovative design website daily as assigned by the Department.
6.1.20. Participate in backlog grooming, sprit planning retrospective and review meeting daily as assigned by the Department.
6.1.21. Develop and document code per Division development standards daily as assigned by the Department.
6.1.22. In collaboration with the Department's Division of Disease Control and Health Protection (Department DCHP) information technology teams; design, develop, and code based on business requirements for the Department DCHP Master Person Index (MPI) project as part of the overall strategic effort for integration and interoperability of its systems and software daily as requested by the Department.
6.1.23. Work with Department resources to standardize collection and storage of Department's DCHP shared data daily as requested by the Department.
