URBN is looking for a motivated UX Research Intern to assist with various research projects while gaining a foundational understanding of research methods. As a member of the UX Research team, you will integrate qualitative and quantitative insights to improve user experiences across our digital platformsincluding e-commerce websites, mobile apps, retail systems, and internal tools. Youll collaborate with experienced UX Designers, Product Managers, and key stakeholders across all URBN brands, ensuring that the customers voice is central to our decision-making. This role focuses on learning and professional growth, providing you with opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge in UX research.

The URBN 2025 Summer Internship Program will run from 6/2 through 8/8 at our Home Office in Philadelphia, PA.
Summer Internship Program Application Process:

Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct secondary research to support a variety of UX Research projects.
- Assist with data collection and analysis.
- Help craft research plans by defining study objectives, selecting appropriate methodologies, and outlining expected outcomes.
- Independently manage and execute at least one small UX research project, including identifying research questions, designing and conducting the study, analyzing data, and presenting findings.
Role Qualifications:
- Recent graduate (or to graduate by January 2025)
- Basic understanding of UX Research, with direct experience in at least one of the following methodologies: card sorting, tree testing, competitor analysis, in-depth interviews, usability testing, surveys/intercepts.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- A curious mindset and eagerness to learn new skills; self-starter
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage and prioritize tasks.
- Effective time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field, OR additional education, such as certificates, related to UX Research.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to effectively advocate for user needs to various audiences.
- Background or interest in e-commerce/retail is a plus.
