Full Stack Web Developer- SR- IS Clinical Innovations Requisition ID 2024-52053 Category Information Technology Overview The Senior Full Stack Application Developer leads and oversees the design and development of custom software applications and requires a strong understanding of healthcare business, technologies, and cloud infrastructure. Collaborating with application developers, IS security, infrastructure engineers, and other stakeholders, the senior developer designs and develops solutions that meet security and compliance requirements, ranging from on-premise to cloud implementations. The senior developer balances project aspects like safety, functionality, user experience, extendibility, portability, interoperability, and budget. The senior developer researches and promotes new technologies and industry best practices, facilitating changes to maximize value and minimize effort. Responsibilities include developing and enforcing best practices for the entire application development process, from requirements documentation to maintenance and decommission, with a focus on cloud application development and infrastructure. This role provides technical leadership, guidance, and direction to Information Services management, staff, and business leaders. Additionally, the senior developer assists the Design + Technology Manager in mentoring developers and growing the project portfolio in alignment with strategic directions.
