SUMMARY: The Minnesota Vikings are currently seeking a creative, highly motivated Photo Editor Associate with a passion for football. The Photo Editor Associate will assist Vikings' photographers with the postproduction process including, but not limited to, editing, culling, retouching, archiving, distribution, and image sourcing. The Photo Editor Associate will report to the Sr. Manager, Digital Asset & Archives to gain immense experience working with photography collections, workflows and processes in a fast-paced, content driven, sports environment. This position will be responsible for completing some photography requests and other duties as assigned during the 2025 season.

End Date: May 22, 2026

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Live edit/retouch photos on Vikings gamedays for immediate use on Vikings.com and social media.
  • Edit/Retouch photos from a variety of Vikings photographers including non-gameday events and photoshoots.
  • Cull photographs according to shot lists and needs of the Team.
  • Tag metadata and upload to the Vikings digital asset management system, Widen.
  • Maintain the Vikings photo archive in collaboration with the Sr. Manager, Digital Asset & Archives.
  • Handle image sourcing for internal & external photo requests.
  • Help curate gameday and post-game photo galleries for Vikings.com.
  • Assist with photoshoots.
  • Photograph community and other events, if needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in photography or Photojournalism preferred, or currently enrolled as a student.
  • Proficient in, Adobe Photoshop, and Photo Mechanic. No preference on editing software but adobe software is preferred.
  • Demonstrated photo editing experience.
  • Experience with photo post-production workflows and best practices.
  • Experience maintaining the lifecycle of photos within a digital asset management system.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism within a professional sports environment including media work zones.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to travel to various events.
