About the role
Disco is hiring for our first Publisher focused Account Manager. This is a Senior level role with the opportunity to build and shape our account management motion. You will play a pivotal role in helping Disco retain and expand our existing publisher network.
While this role can be remote, candidates based in New York City or San Francisco are preferred due to Disco's office presence in both cities.

About the role
Disco is hiring for our first Publisher focused Account Manager. This is a Senior level role with the opportunity to build and shape our account management motion. You will play a pivotal role in helping Disco retain and expand our existing publisher network.

Who you are
- You are described as being in the top 10% of people others have worked with by peers and previous managers
- You are highly organized with strict attention to detail
- You are relentless with follow up and know how to build value with each touchpoint
- You are naturally curious and enjoy complex problem solving
- You understand how to build strong business relationships & have experience building excitement and selling a new value prop
- Restructuring and renegotiating existing publisher contracts
- Signing publisher agreements within an existing customer base
- Identifying and executing on opportunities to increase joint monetization between Disco and our publisher ecosystem
- Building strong working relationships with Disco's strategic publishers
- Developing our first publisher management playbook
- 5 + years in a sales or account management role
- Demonstrated experience negotiating net new contracts or re-negotiating existing contracts
- Experience with deal qualification frameworks like MEDDIC / MEDDPICC
- High level of financial & business acumen. For example you:
- Understand how to evaluate what is a good deal vs bad deal for the business
- Can develop a framework for resource & budget allocation
- Data modeling is a plus
- Experience w/ usage based or consumption based pricing models is a plus
- Salary Range: $150,000-$180,000
- OTE Split: 70% Base / 30% Bonus
