About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior SEO Marketer with a passion for optimizing exceptional site experiences, crafting powerful content strategies, and driving measurable results for world-class brands. This role is ideal for someone who understands that today's user experience starts at the search results page, and that search marketing is central to a customer-centric digital strategy. As a Senior SEO Marketer, you will develop and execute holistic SEO strategies to maximize organic search performance, incorporating the latest AI-driven techniques and tools to stay ahead of industry trends. You will collaborate across teams to ensure a seamless, impactful, and measurable online presence for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead SEO Strategy Development: Own the creation, execution, and optimization of comprehensive SEO strategies that improve organic traffic, visibility, and conversions for clients' websites. Analyze business goals and audit the existing digital landscape to identify opportunities, gaps, and areas for improvement. Develop strategies that enhance the current SEO framework, align with business objectives, and drive measurable ROI. Conduct extensive keyword research, define target audiences, and lead content creation strategies that align with SEO objectives, integrating AI-driven insights and tools.
  • AI Search Experience Integration: Leverage AI-powered search tools and strategies to optimize search performance, including AI-enhanced keyword research, content generation, and predictive analytics. Stay ahead of AI and machine learning advancements in search engine algorithms and integrate them into SEO strategies to improve results.
  • Core Web Vitals and Technical SEO: Oversee technical SEO enhancements, including Core Web Vitals optimization, mobile-first indexing, schema markup implementation, and page speed improvements to ensure search engine and user experience alignment.
  • Drive Content Strategy: Work with editorial teams to develop engaging content that is both SEO-optimized and aligned with broader business goals. Provide direction on topics, keyword integration, and content flow to ensure success in organic search rankings, while incorporating AI tools to streamline content creation and optimize for user intent.
  • Conduct In-Depth Analysis: Analyze competitors' SEO strategies to uncover gaps and opportunities, providing insights to improve client performance. Regularly monitor website traffic, keyword rankings, and backlink profiles to ensure the strategy is on track, incorporating AI-powered tools to gain deeper insights.
  • Performance Reporting & Optimization: Deliver regular, detailed reports and analysis to clients, highlighting key SEO metrics such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, and backlink profiles. Make actionable recommendations to continually improve SEO performance, with a focus on AI-enhanced performance tracking and analysis.
  • Client Communication & Budget Management: Oversee client communications, managing expectations around project goals, timelines, and budgets. Quality assurance (QA) of work produced by the team is critical to maintaining high standards and results.
  • Local SEO Strategies: Optimize websites for local search visibility, including Google Business Profile management, local citations, and driving foot traffic through targeted, location-based search strategies.
  • SEO for Emerging Platforms: Develop and execute strategies to optimize content for marketplaces (Amazon, Etsy), video platforms (YouTube), and app store optimization (ASO) to expand brand reach beyond traditional search engines.
  • eCommerce SEO Strategy: Develop and implement SEO strategies specifically designed for eCommerce websites, focusing on optimizing product pages, category pages, and site architecture to drive organic traffic and increase conversions. Leverage keyword research, AI-driven insights, and user intent analysis to improve product discoverability, enhance rankings, and reduce friction in the customer purchase journey. Incorporate schema markup, internal linking, and content strategies to boost visibility in search engine results and deliver measurable ROI.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with content creators, developers, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices, including AI-based optimizations, are integrated into content and website architecture. Provide SEO content briefs, keyword research, and actionable insights to elevate organic performance.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Remain up-to-date on the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and emerging best practices, particularly in the area of AI and machine learning applications for search. Bring forward innovative ideas and tactics to ensure our SEO strategies remain cutting-edge and effective.
  • Manage Team Development: Mentor and provide guidance to junior SEO team members, supporting their professional growth and ensuring consistency in SEO execution across the team, with an emphasis on the adoption and integration of AI-driven SEO tools.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of SEO experience, with a proven track record of driving results in organic search, increasing traffic, improving rankings, and optimizing conversion rates, including leveraging AI tools to enhance these results.
  • In-depth understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices, including the integration of AI and machine learning techniques for SEO optimization.
  • Strong content strategy background, ideally with experience in editorial content, blog strategy, or content creation, incorporating AI-powered tools for content optimization.
  • Expertise in SEO tools like BrightEdge, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc., as well as AI-powered tools for keyword research, content optimization, and performance tracking.
  • Experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Data Studio, along with a strong understanding of AI's role in optimizing search performance.
  • Highly proficient in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups) and comfortable working with large datasets.
  • Solid experience in providing data-driven SEO recommendations and optimizations, including using AI tools for deep analysis and insights.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to visualize and simplify complex data for clients and team members alike.
  • Experience in managing paid search campaigns (PPC/SEM) is a plus, but not required.
  • Knowledge or experience with YouTube search optimization is a bonus.
  • A data-driven, systematic approach to SEO problem-solving and opportunity identification, with a focus on AI-driven methodologies.
Compensation
  • Job Type: Full-time Employee
  • Annual Base Salary: $70,000 - $80,000/year
