About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Marketing, Communications, and Public Relations to play a pivotal role in advancing its mission to combat cancer through patient-centered care, innovative research, and community engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy that aligns with the goals of the cancer center. This includes strategic leadership to ensure the center's image and impact are enhanced, stakeholder engagement with a focus on cultivating relationships with leadership, patients, caregivers, donors, and the media, and brand management to maintain a consistent and compelling presence across all channels. The role also involves public relations, marketing campaigns, internal communications, and a strong partnership commitment with the enterprise marketing and communications division. Applicants for the Executive Director position should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 8 years' experience in leadership roles within marketing, communications, and public relations. Experience in healthcare, particularly in cancer centers or medical research institutions, is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will possess strong strategic thinking, excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in digital marketing and social media strategies, and a background in crisis communications and media relations. Knowledge of cancer research and healthcare industry trends is a plus, and a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment is essential. The role also requires the ability to manage a high-performing team and effectively promote research findings to the public and medical community.
