About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Institutional Advancement, Marketing, and Public Relations to provide strategic leadership in fundraising, marketing, public relations, and small business entrepreneurship centers. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive strategies to enhance the institution's visibility, secure financial support, and foster strong relationships with the community and key stakeholders. This role involves leading the development of fundraising strategies, overseeing donor engagement, and serving as the primary spokesperson for the institution. The Vice President will also be tasked with managing a professional team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation, and ensuring the alignment of advancement and marketing efforts with the institution's strategic goals. Applicants for the Vice President position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of work-related experience, or a Master's degree and at least 3 years of work-related experience. A Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred, along with a proven track record in fundraising, marketing, and managing external relationships. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills, and experience in higher education or nonprofit administration. Responsibilities include overseeing the management and growth of small business entrepreneurship centers, leading a professional team, and collaborating with the Executive Leadership Team to ensure the institution's strategic goals are met. The role also involves representing the institution at various events and engaging in institutional collaboration to align marketing and fundraising strategies with academic programs and priorities.
