About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Corporate Communications with a focus on digital assets and growth ventures. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and delivering key strategic media relations opportunities, with an emphasis on enhancing top-tier coverage across various multimedia platforms. This role involves building and nurturing relationships with priority news media, managing day-to-day press engagements, and preparing messaging documents for spokespeople. The Vice President will also be involved in extensive writing and messaging development, including press releases, and will play a key role in crafting social media and internal-facing content. The ideal candidate should have a demonstrated track record in executing media relations strategies for a large, global financial services firm, and experience in creating both external and internal-facing financial services content. To excel in this position, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, with 5-7 years' in media relations and corporate communications within a financial services environment. The role requires an individual with outstanding written and oral communication skills, the ability to manage a high volume of stakeholder feedback, and a proactive approach to handling multiple demands. Experience in a highly regulated, matrixed environment is essential, as is the ability to work with key business stakeholders, legal, compliance, and leadership to secure necessary approvals. The Vice President will be expected to evaluate and report on communication metrics, manage deliverables against an editorial calendar, and contribute to other business communications as needed.
