Description

Job Description: Social Media Manager

Company: ACC

Location: LA/NYC

Reports to: President of ACC

Do you know how to talk to the internet and actually get it to listen? Do you physically cringe when brands post something painfully out of touch? Are you the type who spots a trend before it takes off and knows how to turn it into content that people actually want to engage with? Too many questions?

If you're nodding "Yes" to all of the above, ACC is looking for you. Someone who can turn our social channels into a destination-not an afterthought. Someone who understands that great social media is equal parts art, science, and intuition.

What you'll do:

  • Own the social content process end-to-end for all of our agencies, from developing monthly content calendars to creating scroll-stopping eye candy for every platform.
  • Know our voice, be our voice: Craft posts that hit, whether it's a 10-second video or a 280-character mic drop.
  • Grow our social following and actually engage with them. No ghosting. No cringe replies.
  • Work with our agencies to amplify their stories. Think campaigns, cultural moments, and behind-the-scenes gold.
  • Keep us ahead of the game. Trends, tools, weird internet rabbit holes-you know where culture's headed before anyone else.
  • Analyze what works, ditch what doesn't, and keep pushing for what's next.
Requirements

What we're looking for:
  • A track record of making brands or projects stand out online. (3+ years of doing this helps.)
  • Killer instincts for what makes good content-and the skills to bring it to life. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, photography, and video editing.
  • Experience with social media platforms including but not limited to TikTok, Instagram, Twitter (fine, X), Threads, YouTube, LinkedIn, and whatever platform is next.
  • Strong writing chops. You can make a brand sound human and funny without trying too hard.
  • The ability to move fast, think big, and pivot when needed.
  • Comfortable with analytics tools. You don't need to be a data nerd (I mean, you can be), but you should know your way around a report.
Bonus points if:
  • You've grown a brand's social following from zero to hero.
  • You're the go-to in your group chat for memes.
  • You own one of those tiny microphones they use in ASMR videos.

Why work with us?

Because we're not here to play it safe. We want to make noise, take risks, and have fun while doing it. If you're ready to help us make social media less boring, let's talk.
