Job Description:

We are seeking self-motivated, team-oriented user experience practitioners who are prepared to challenge requirement focused development with a user-centered design process built around empathy for our users.

Our hybrid-remote UX teams are responsible for driving user experience through a process of research discovery and solution framing – ultimately delivering the best product experience for our users while additionally providing industry-leading business solutions for our customers.

This role provides project guidance and design by working with designers, stakeholders, customers, and users to understand and align on business goals, research processes and design deliverables which will support taking projects to completion. You will contribute individually to the research, synthesis, solutioning, and prototyping of specific projects and potentially a suite of products within multiple business units.

Additionally, you will work with business partners to review product and/or project roadmaps and help determine strategy, timelines, budget, and potential resource needs; providing information to design leaders to support the allocation process. You will work with peers to define, document, and manage a repo of UX process and strategy and facilitate dissemination of assets across the enterprise through various means of advocacy and training.

You will work with design leaders to support and enhance research efforts by helping define and maintain an up-to-date repo for a variety of projects; as well as define standards for developing project-focused user communities to make user recruiting a seamless part of our process. You may be required at times to provide guidance and support to other designers and ensure, along with UX competencies, that they are well-versed in the industry nuances and business needs and goals of their respective projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Embrace and exemplify humility, communication, feedback, respect, and courage
  • Be an active member and leader of the CoreLogic design community to help grow and hone our design practices
  • Be a user experience advocate and champion of the user; writing whitepapers and other informative documentation for CoreLogic
  • Develop and deliver UX documentation for a wide range of audiences including business stakeholders, designers, TPMs and engineers.
  • Collaborate with product owners, TPMs, analysts, designers, and developers to determine efficacy of given solutions and to ensure CoreLogic is delivering best in class user experiences.
  • Provide oversight and support to designers working as leads on a variety of projects.
  • Gather and synthesize user and business requirements from multiple sources including users, customers, product stakeholders, and engineers
  • Facilitate various methods of user research and testing and analyze and report findings. Develop and help maintain user profiles and personas.
  • Develop and utilize wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to demonstrate and present research, ideas, and potential solutions to stakeholders for review.
  • Support the handoff of accurate design specifications required to implement designs through a variety of methods such as writing epics and user stories or referencing a design system
  • Be a core member of UX; leading projects, working on UX specific initiatives, aggregating resources, and creating libraries and repositories of UX assets.
  • Take initiative to coach and grow other designers; lead discussions on UX/UI

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in design, user experience, human-computer interaction (HCI), engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience.
  • Success developing innovative and creative solutions to complex user problems, processes, standards, and strategic plans related to user experience design
  • An online portfolio demonstrating past work experience and relevant, user-centered design solutions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills. Must be able to articulate design decisions and rationale to non-design partners and peers
  • Strong facilitation and collaboration skills with an ability to lead collaborative design sessions and decision making across the organization
  • Strong verbal and written interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate the value of design to product, business, and technology leaders and ability to articulate your design vision and defend your design decisions
  • Strong business and technical acumen; able to quickly learn new businesses and emerging technologies
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and consistently deliver on time
  • Ability to navigate constraints via creativity and divergent design explorations
  • Mastery of the principles of UX, interface design, use of interactive technologies and user-centered design methods and best practices
  • Mastery with usability testing and interpretation of results
  • Solid understanding of web design and development process, including agile/lean/XP methodologies
  • Ability to work with highly technical teams in an agile, fast-paced environment.
