In this role, youll support Upswells content development and production process across a range of studio outputs, including exhibitions, films, interactive installations, and websites. You will be responsible for researching, organizing, tracking, coordinating, sourcing, licensing, proofing, and testing project content. Our ideal candidate has a background in the liberal arts, has a keen interest in creative production across the cultural and social sectors, and can work independently and collaboratively. What Youll DoCoordinate project content schedules, milestones, production shoots, and, as applicable, outside consultantsConduct archival and primary content research, clearing rights, securing/negotiating licenses, sourcing assets, and managing content acquisition budgetsTrack, organize, and archive all content and media assets using tools and systems such as Microsoft/Google docs and spreadsheets, and internal and external drivesSupport the content team with content development tasks, such as creating draft copy, logging footage, uploading content to content management systems, and basic video/audio/image editing Conduct content quality assurance including, but not limited to, proofreading and testing in design and software systems, and participating in user focus groups and user testingWhat We RequireA Bachelors degree in the liberal arts (humanities, social sciences, natural sciences) 23 years experience working as a content coordinator, production assistant, or content producerExcellent organizational skills, with strong attention to detail, diligent tracking and execution, and the ability to think ahead and proactively anticipate and plan for upcoming tasksExcellent oral and written communicationDemonstrated experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office. Figma and Adobe Creative Suite tools are a bonus.Ability to attend content-related internal meetings (sometimes outside of regular office hours), off-site working sessions, or perform research tripsWhat We OfferUpswell offers a salary commensurate with experience.
