In this role, youll design websites (desktop + mobile), applications, and experiences for Upswells cultural, social, and research partners. Youll work with developers, strategists, and art directors to define visual approaches that are on-strategy and on-brand. Our ideal candidate unites visual design, interface design, and user experience and is highly iterative and collaborative. You are curious about user motivations and believe design prototyping will help meet users needs.What Youll DoWork collaboratively with the Upswell team to establish visual and interface concepts based on strategy briefs, content outlines, audience profiles, and other background materialCreate and develop design documentation, including visual designs, UI systems, user flows, storyboards, mood boards, and style guidesCreate and test low-fidelity paper or digital prototypesInteract with clients and users to elicit and clarify front-end requirements What We Require24 years experience working in a client services environment as a digital interface designer Excellent organization, attention to detail, impeccable executionDemonstrated ability to articulate and justify a design rationale for your design solutionsDemonstrated experience with design tools such as Figma and the Adobe Creative SuiteExcellent written, verbal, and presentation skillsExperience with illustration, motion, animation, or coding a plusWhat We OfferUpswell offers a salary commensurate with experience.
