Summary:

Bonitz, Inc., an Employee-Owned Company, is seeking a Marketing Manager who will be responsible for driving and leading marketing strategy for Bonitz. This position will develop and execute marketing strategies and activities that drive brand health and commercial performance of our brand in support of the overall company strategy. This person will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze insights, commercialize technologies, and engage with partners, to develop a robust strategy with insights from both our internal and external stakeholders.

Founded in 1954, Bonitz, Inc. is an Employee-Owned Company operating as specialty trade commercial contractors servicing the construction industry. Bonitz designs and installs custom flooring, walls, ceilings, and cladding systems. We offer access, terrazzo and other specialty flooring as well as floor care. We are committed to providing best in class project consulting, project management, and craftsmanship while delivering superior service and practical solutions. Bonitz has divisions in SC, NC, GA, TN, VA, LA, and FL.

Position Essential Duties:

  • Marketing strategy: Lead the development and execution of marketing initiatives. Partners with leadership to design and implement comprehensive strategies that align with corporate goals. Builds the Bonitz brand and reinforces our market presence through targeted campaigns and cross-platform engagement.
  • Brand management: Build and maintain a strong brand position. Develops compelling, consistent messaging to differentiate Bonitz in the market. Ensures all customer touchpoints reflect our brand values and unique offerings. Monitors market trends and implements innovative solutions to stay ahead of competitors.
  • Multi-channel campaigns: Execute impactful marketing programs across diverse channels. Manages digital, print, PR, and social media initiatives to maximize visibility. Plans and executes industry events, trade shows, and webinars to showcase Bonitz's expertise and drive lead generation.
  • Market research: Leverage insights to guide strategy and ensure relevance. Conducts thorough research to analyze trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscapes. Provides actionable recommendations for market expansion and enhanced profitability.
  • Sales collaboration: Partner with sales teams to enhance customer engagement. Develops tools, materials, and training that support sales efforts. Aligns marketing strategies with sales objectives to drive growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Internal culture: Foster a positive work environment through communication and engagement. Creates internal public relations strategies to promote company culture, celebrate successes, and enhance employee pride. Designs marketing materials consistent with company values and goals.
  • Performance tracking: Measure and optimize the effectiveness of marketing initiatives. Tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess impact and improve program results. Provides detailed reports on budgets, campaign success rates, and return on investment.
  • Leadership and operations: Manage the marketing department and ensure strategic alignment. Mentors staff, ensuring a high-performance team environment. Oversees the department budget, ensuring resources are effectively allocated.
Education/Experience and Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Public Relations, Communications or related field
  • 5-7 years' experience in marketing and brand management and graphic design
  • Knowledge of marketing-related business practices, including advertising, branding, market research, technology, and budgeting
  • A creative thinker with a strategic mindset and an understanding of B2B marketing and branding, with a focus on brand differentiation, digital marketing, public relations, and positioning the company as a leader in the market
  • Must have a strong understanding of B2B marketing strategies, with a proven track record of successful brand management and experience in media relations and communication strategies
  • Proficient with marketing-related software programs
  • Proficiency in MS Suite of products
  • Demonstrated history of planning successful product launches and events
  • Effective communication skills and adaptable communication style for interacting with team members and clients
  • Effective time management and organization skills
  • Ability to lead, direct and motivate team members
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills for coming up with ideas to increase demand for products and services
  • Good knowledge of graphic design practices and procedures
  • Ability to travel to company locations
