About the job Technical Writer

Technical Writer needs technical Writing, Communications, or Medical Technology with technical writing experience
Technical Writer requires:
Associates Degree in Technical Writing, Communications, or Medical Technology with technical writing experience or equivalent is required.
Bachelors degree preferred.
The individuals must be able to represent the Technical group on cross-functional teams and be comfortable interacting with IT professionals and upper levels of management.
Experience working in a regulated environment.
Must be proven team player, self-motivated, able to prioritize workload with minimal supervision, manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills and strong computer skills are required.

Technical Writer duties:
Responsible for reviewing, editing and/or creating documentation (e.g. batch records, specifications, procedures, SOPs, etc.) to provide clear and correct instructions for site processes and procedures.
Confer with SMEs in cross functional groups to develop and/or revise documentation content for completeness and correctness.
Manage the documentation and change control processes within the change management system.
Review established documentation and recommended revisions or changes in scope, format, and content.
Edit, standardize, or make changes to documents prepared by SMEs or other company personnel.
Use Microsoft Word for editing and/or creating documents and demonstrate proficiency with templates and custom formats.
Write document change requests, change notices, and implementation plans within a computer-based change management software.
Manage the documentation, change request, change notice, and implementation plan through the change control processes.
Manage new documentation and revised documentation through lifecycle within a document management system.
Maintain records and files of work and revisions.
