As a Senior Public Relations Manager, you’ll provide strategy, guidance and execution on media relations campaigns to tell the stories of Rocket’s FinTech brands. This includes Rocket Mortgage, as well as quickly growing companies like Rocket Homes, Rocket Money and many others.
Beyond the core FinTech stories, you’ll spread the word about how the Rocket platform is making homebuying easier, the new innovations behind that process and the creative ways we have told consumers about it – which has included Super Bowl commercials, PGA TOUR events and million-dollar sweepstakes.
You’ll use your media relations experience to find the right ways to tell these stories in new and creative ways. On this team, you’ll make an impact on a Fortune 300 ranked company in the heart of Detroit.
About the Role

Develop and implement media relations programs

Initiate and maintain relationships with national and local media and industry analysts

Develop, write and present story ideas to reporters and editors

Plan and manage participation in press tours, conferences and events

Coordinate speaking engagements

Work independently with executive leadership

Oversee large, critically impactful projects for the organization
About You
-
7 years of public relations or related experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations or a related field

Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
