Overview

This role will be pivotal to the functionality of the overall process of Visual Merchandising for Brooks Brothers. The VM Manager will be responsible for contributing to overall merchandising and display direction for retail women's and factory men's and women's. In addition, the VM Manager will work in stores to perform regular maintenance/troubleshooting/floor sets, and new store openings. Lastly, duties will lean heavily on producing VM training material for the field that the entire fleet can utilize.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating retail and factory VM direction on a monthly basis. In addition, create ad hoc training directives as needed throughout the season.
  • In-depth ability to rig and style looks for directive or specific to stores as well as expert ability to execute in-store merchandising for factory and retail.
  • Maintain communications between corporate partners as well as key field partners to understand what the needs are from a directive perspective.
  • Develop and implement VM training material.
  • Physically create directives within PowerPoint/Keynote for the stores via Store Operations communications tools.
  • Travel regularly to key locations to maintain and partner on their VM execution. Travel up to 45% of the time.
  • Assist with procurement, planning, and operations for window display roll outs or adhoc initiatives.
  • Understand and use our digital merchandising tool. IWD
  • Assist in planning and creation of wholesale and international showrooms on seasonal basis.
Qualifications
  • College degree preferred.
  • 5-8 years of retail visual merchandising experience.
  • Strong business acumen and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Keynote.
  • Proficient with 3D rendering programs. IWD preferred.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of production and building.
  • Ability to travel when needed.
  • Knowledge of driving sales through merchandising directives and understanding of merchandising a store.
  • Physically fit to keep up with a very physically demanding role which includes ability to lift more than 20 lbs, frequently moving mannequins/bust forms, merchandising fixtures, large tables, working in tight spaces, work on ladders, etc.


Requirements & EEO Statement

The salary range for this position is $75,000-$83,000 annually. Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to position offered and work experience.
